“Life just doesn’t begin until you’re IN.”

Carrie: The Musical was my love-letter to Gen Z. Although it was written in 1988, it encapsulates so many issues young people still face today. This show was mounted right after another shooting had taken place in Texas, where I was at the time. Give the opening title, “IN,” a listen: you’ll understand the tenderness of it all.
