Bright Ideas by Eric Coble shows the lengths parents will go to for their children to be in the best schools, and overall have a better life than their parents. The show draws from Macbeth, but in the land of an elite pre-school. The children are never on-stage, and if you read/see the show, you’ll be glad they weren’t. I recommend listening to “Pity Party” by Melanie Martinez while reading.
